Bali Climate

Bali's climate is warm and tropical due to its proximity to the equator. Temperatures average 88˚ Fahrenheit all year round. Humidity is high between October and April, known as the Wet Season. The Dry Season is from May to September and humidity during this period is low.

The Wet Season brings rain and overcast days. The highest rainfall is from December to February. There is occasionally rain during the dry season but it usually comes at night or very early in the morning, so it won't affect your day. From June to August a refreshing cool breeze blows during the day. Mountainous central Bali is usually cooler than the coastal areas, particularly at night.

Bali Currency

The currency in Bali is the Indonesian Rupiah.

Getting Around in Bali

The best way to get around Bali is probably in a private taxi, and drivers usually offer their services for the whole day rather than per journey. Public buses are very cheap, but very basic, and although it is possible to book car hire in Bali, the roads can be confusing, and it is more expensive than hiring a car and driver on a day to day basis.
