Flights to Kuala Lumpur arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, 34 miles south of Kuala Lumpur. The airport's two terminals are connected by the Aerotrain service, which operates every three to five minutes.

To reach Kuala Lumpur city centre from the airport, the KLA Ekspres operates a direct rail service. LKIA Transit is also a high speed commuter train between KL City Air Terminal (located at the central train station) and the airport. Express buses to Kuala Lumpur are available from Block C's ground floor bus station. Taxis can be arranged at Arrivals. It is advised to buy a coupon at taxi counters to avoid illegal taxi operators.

There are several bureaux de change and cash machines at the airport, as well as a bank and post office. Free WiFi is also available, and there are many shops, restaurants, delis, bars and other outlets to relax in pre- or post-flight.
