Getting Around

Tenerife is a wonderful island to explore, whether on foot, by car, bike or even by bus. The island has excellent roads running between almost every town, village and beach, so car hire in Tenerife is an excellent idea as it gives you the opportunity to explore the lesser visited areas of the island. If you prefer public transport, the bus system is cheap and easy but can be time consuming, so if you're in a hurry it's probably wise to avoid them. Motorcycle rental fees are fairly cheap, and taxis are very reliable.
